Undergraduate research showcased in annual spring symposium

EVENT: The Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program holds its annual Spring Research Symposium, a culmination of the UROP experience. It is one of the largest such symposium in the country bringing more than 1,000 undergraduate students from all fields and disciplines together in one event. Ten research sponsors will also be recognized as Outstanding UROP Research Mentors from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Michigan League?s Kalamazoo Room.
Students share their findings with community members, university faculty, and their fellow UROP students in a professional academic setting.
UROP started in 1989 with 14 student/faculty partnerships. Today, more than 1,300 students and 700 faculty researchers are engaged in research partnerships.
