Aquatic invasive species is topic of next Wolverine Caucus forum

EVENT: In “Aquatic invasive species: the Great Lakes’ most wanted!” University of Michigan Great Lakes researchers Jennifer Read and David Jude will explain how Michigan Sea Grant, a joint initiative of U-M and Michigan State University, is contributing to the collective effort to eliminate introductions of invasive species, reduce the spread and impact of those that are already here, and inform policymakers and the public about the importance of addressing this vital ecosystem management issue.

Read is acting director of U-M Michigan Sea Grant and executive director of the Great Lakes Observing System. Jude is a research scientist emeritus at the U-M School of Natural Resources and Environment.
