ANN ARBOR—Mark Rey, the U.S. Department of Agriculture‘s undersecretary for natural resources and environment, will share his views on the challenges facing the U.S. Forest Service and other public land management agencies at a public meeting on Tuesday (Dec. 4), 4-5:30 p.m., in the Michigan League Hussey Room on the University of Michigan campus. An informal reception (5:30-6:30 p.m.) will follow the talk, which is free and open to the community.

Prior to his current appointment, Rey served as a staff member of the U.S. Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources. He has been involved in virtually every forestry and conservation related bill considered in the last several sessions of Congress.
