U-M summer program guide has activities for all ages

ANN ARBOR—A new summer-only catalog that lists special programs, workshops and academic and recreational programs for students and non-students, and young people from preschool through high school, is available from the University of Michigan Office of Academic Outreach.

The programs listed range from regular undergraduate credit courses to athletic camps, drum major clinics, musical theatre summer institutes, music technology camps, to special sessions at the U-M Exhibit Museum.

Persons interested in computers can enroll in a number of mini-courses for beginners and persons who seek more advanced training. The University?s Instructional Technology Division is offering an intensive workshop, “Computer Immersion: Preparing to Return to the Work Force.” A number of professional continuing education sessions are also available, including business management seminars, law, engineering, medical and dental programs, ice arena management.
