Biography

Jeff writes about faculty research and other newsworthy developments within the Ross School of Business, Ford School of Public Policy, Department of Economics and more. He also hosts and co-produces the Business & Society podcast, a joint production of Ross and Michigan News.

Jeff joined the university in March 2020 after nearly 30 years working as a reporter and editor, including The Associated Press in Detroit.

Jeff is a lifelong musician, writing and playing what he calls “Motown-made rhythm-and-roots folk.” His original theme music is featured on two U-M podcasts, and he performs shows both solo and with his band, Garrison Corner.
