Volunteers ‘Into the Streets’ doing community service April 12.

ANN ARBOR—Into the Streets, a nationally recognized program that challenges students and community members to dedicate one day to community service learning, is scheduled for Saturday (April 12) at the University of Michigan. Students, faculty, staff and Ann Arbor residents can volunteer to spend a day working for social justice in the Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti or Detroit areas.

Participants will meet at 10 a. m in Auditorium A, Angell Hall, for the Into the Streets kick off. Participants will arrive at their site no later than noon and work until approximately 4 p. m. Transportation will be provided, but participants should plan to bring a sack lunch.
