Information on U-M units’ commencement activities

Spring Commencement, 10 a.m., May 3, Michigan Stadium (regardless of the weather). Speaker: U-M President Lee C. Bollinger.

EDITORS: Media personnel covering the ceremony should come to the Stadium tunnel entrance.

Families and guests should enter the Stadium through Gates 2, 4, 9 and 10, beginning at 8:30 a.m.

A limited number of tickets will be available for non-graduating students, faculty and staff, and the general public. These tickets will be distributed 9 a.m.-5 p.m. May 1 and 2, up to two tickets per person, at the Michigan Union Ticket Office, located in the lower level of the Michigan Union.

In keeping with Michigan Stadium policy, the following are prohibited inside the gates: umbrellas, coolers, beverages and food, camcorder cases, backpacks, signs, banners, balloons, balls, large camera bags and items mounted on poles.

University Graduate Exercises, 3 p.m. May 2, Hill Auditorium. Speaker: U-M President Lee C. Bollinger.

Families and guests should enter Hill through the front and side lobby doors and should be seated by 2:45 p.m. Doors will open at 2 p.m.
