Space Science lecture series begins May 22
1997-98 Space Science lecture series begins on May 22 at U-M.
ANN ARBOR—Michigan Space Grant Consortium is sponsoring a series of lectures on astronomy and space science for the general public. The first lecture in the 1997-98 Space Science Series, titled “Star and Planet Formation Viewed by the Hubble Space Telescope,” will take place 4-5:30 p.m. on
Guest lecturers will be Jeffrey Hester from Arizona State University and Karl Stapelfeldt from NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
The lecture is free and open to the general public. High school students are especially encouraged to attend.
