Former NFL quarterback Brett Favre said he was recently diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Experts at the University of Michigan Health can discuss the condition.
Kelvin Chou is a movement disorders neurologist, the Alexander S. and Gabriella Karp Professor of Neurology and co-chief of the Parkinson’s Disease & Related Movement Disorders Division at U-M Health. His research focus is on improving the ability to treat movement disorders patients through deep brain stimulation.
Vikas Kotagal is a Parkinson’s disease neurologist and researcher, associate professor of neurology at the U-M Medical School and associate chief of staff for research at the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System.
Kara Wyant is a clinical assistant professor of neurology at the U-M Medical School and a movement disorders specialist at U-M Health. She actively participates in clinical trials and serves as the principal investigator for innovative therapies targeting both motor and nonmotor symptoms of Parkinson’s disease.
