The University of Michigan Board of Regents will conduct a special meeting at 9 a.m. Thursday, July 17. The meeting will be held virtually. A livestream of the regents meeting is available on the main U-M website or by using this direct link: umich.edu/watch.

The regents will vote on key agenda items including a proposed agreement allowing the university to construct a new residential housing unit located adjacent to the University of Michigan Center for Innovation, which is expected to open in Detroit in spring 2027.

The next regular regents meeting is scheduled for Sept. 18 in University Hall at the Alexander G. Ruthven Building.
