EVENT: Inauguration ceremony for University of Michigan President Mark Schlissel, who became the university’s 14th president since it was founded in 1817. Keynote speaker: Dr. Ruth J. Simmons, president emerita, Brown University.
PLACE: Hill Auditorium, 825 N. University Ave., Ann Arbor
