Tour of new U-M Munger Graduate Residences

EVENT: A media tour of the of the new Munger Graduate Residences at the University of Michigan, which opens this fall with 630 students from more than 70 graduate programs.
Combining sustainable living standards, attractive amenities and a pioneering design conducive to graduate-level studies, the facility offers a unique living and learning environment. All residents have agreed to be part of the facility’s one-of-a-kind program to contribute unique perspectives on collaborative projects to address global issues. The vision for the facility and program was inspired by philanthropist and U-M alumnus Charles T. Munger, who provided a $110 million gift to fund construction of the residence hall and fellowships for graduate students.
PLACE: 540 Thompson St., Ann Arbor, on U-M’s Central Campus. The building is between Division and Thompson streets at Madison Street.
PARKING: The Ann Arbor Art Fair will be taking place near the facility so parking will be limited and usual lots may not be available.
