EVENT: Faiz Niaz Tirmizi, consul general of Pakistan in Chicago, will visit the University of Michigan and speak about “Pakistan and U.S. relations: An appraisal.”

The speech and a welcome reception at 5:15 p.m. will be free and open to the public.

Tirmizi has been the Pakistani consul general in Chicago since September 2013. He has also served in Turkmenistan, Switzerland and United Arab Emirates.
