Author and activist Bill McKibben to deliver U-M Wege Lecture Oct. 5

EVENT: Author, environmentalist and activist Bill McKibben will deliver the 2017 Wege Lecture in a free public talk titled “Down to the wire: A hot fight in a hot world.” McKibben has written extensively about climate change and is the founder of 350.org, the first global grassroots climate change movement.
McKibben’s 1989 book, “The End of Nature,” is regarded as the first book for a general audience about climate change and has been translated into 24 languages.
