Ford president to address engineering graduates
ANN ARBOR—Jacques Nasser, president and chief executive officer of Ford Motor Company, will be the keynote speaker at the spring graduation exercises of the University of Michigan College of Engineering. The exercises, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Nasser was named to his current position with Ford on Jan. 1. Prior to that, he served as executive vice president, president-Ford Automotive Operations; group vice president-Product Development; company vice president, chairman-Ford of Europe; and president-Ford of Australia.
Joining Nasser on the dais at the exercises will be four U-M student speakers: Jennifer Braganza, the College’s class president; Branton Cole and Stephanie Ongena, co-chairs of the Engineering Graduation Committee; and student representatives Christina O’Donofrio and Brad Finkbeiner.
Over 1,000 graduate and undergraduate students will be recognized for their academic achievements at this event.
