Advisory: Rev. Jesse Jackson to speak on campus Friday
The Rev. Jesse L. Jackson Sr. will speak at the University of Michigan Friday (April 9) at 10:30 a.m. in Hill Auditorium. His topic is “America: We Must Leave No One Behind; A Celebration of Diversity.” The program is free and open to the public.
Jackson’s appearance has been organized by students—the Jesse Jackson Programming Initiative—and funded by student organizations including the Michigan Student Assembly, the LSA Student Government and Bursley Council.
Audio feeds will be available for news media in Hill Auditorium for Jackson’s address and a news conference will follow at 11:30 a.m. on the mezzanine of the U-M Alumni Association building, 200 Fletcher Street (across the plaza next to Hill Auditorium).
