U-M conference on the Asian auto industry will be held Nov. 5 in Dearborn.

ANN ARBOR— The University of Michigan will bring
together auto executives, consultants, policy-makers and
academics to discuss the current state of the Asian auto
industry Nov. 5 at the Dearborn Inn in Dearborn, Mich.

“Asian Autos: The Road to Recovery” will include a
morning session in which academic experts will address the
market prospects for recovery in Japan, China, Korea, India
and Southeast Asia. An afternoon session, featuring auto
executives with extensive experience in Asia, will focus on
evolving strategies and operational experiences.

The conference is sponsored by the U-M Center for
International Business Education and AutoAsia, an industry
