Regents to meet on Thursdays in 2007; session set for Jan. 18

ANN ARBOR—The University of Michigan Board of Regents will hold its monthly meeting Thursday (Jan. 18) in the Fleming Administration Building.

At the meeting, the regents will hear a report on research activity by Vice President for Research Stephen Forrest and a presentation by Douglas Kelbaugh, dean of the A. Alfred Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning.

The annual Parking and Transportation Services update will occur, and a project to expand the Thompson Street parking structure will be on the agenda.

Also before the board will be a resolution approving an honorary degree for former president Bill Clinton, who will be the speaker at spring commencement.

The meeting will begin at 3 p.m.
