Business School forums on presidential election and economy

ANN ARBOR—The University of Michigan will host a series of free public forums on the presidential election and the economy at 4:15-5:45 p.m. Jan. 24, Feb. 7 and Feb. 14 at the U of M Business School‘s Hale Auditorium.

The series, known as “y2e,” will feature several U-M faculty discussing such topics as the presidential election and health care in the 21st century (Jan. 24), the election and tax policy (Feb. 7) and the election and the stock market (Feb. 14).

Video clips from presidential debates will be shown and faculty participants will critique proposals and arguments of the current candidates.

The forums are sponsored by the U-M Office of Tax Policy Research (OTPR) and the Business School’s Department of Business Economics and Puiblic Policy. For more information, call (734) 763-3068.
