ANN ARBOR—The University of Michigan Center for the Study of Complex Systems will present its fifth annual Nobel Symposia from 4-6 p.m. on Jan. 11 and Jan. 25 in 340 West Hall, 550 E. University, on the U-M Central Campus.

At the symposia, U-M faculty will give 30-minute talks explaining the impact and significance of research by winners of last year’s Nobel Prizes in physics, chemistry, medicine, literature, peace and economics. Medicine, peace and economics will be covered on Jan. 11. Physics, literature and chemistry will be covered on Jan. 25. Faculty presentations are designed for a lay audience and the event is free and open to the public.
