Advisory: School of Education to host Teacher’s Institute
The University of Michigan School of Education is one of a select number of schools in the United States and Canada to host the Teacher’s Institute, which begins today (Aug. 3) and runs through Tuesday (Aug. 7). Nearly 125 K-12 teachers from across the country will attend the event, which is being held at the School of Education on the U-M campus. Apple Computer is co-sponsor of the event.
Teachers attending the Institute will learn to use advanced computer technology as a function of helping students to learn more effectively.
As part of the Institute, the School of Education will install a wireless network for Institute participates to use during the conference. Upon conclusion of the Institute, Apple will donate the network to the school.
