U-M student inventor wins national competition ANN ARBOR—Jeffrey Anker, a graduate student in applied physics working in the chemistry department at the University of Michigan, is one of six winners of this year’s Collegiate Inventors Competition. Run by the National Inventors Hall of Fame in Akron, Ohio, the competition is designed to identify the most advanced technology research in all fields of science. This year the six winners were selected from nearly 200 entries.
