Free tickets for U-M Dalai Lama lecture gone; pay tickets for related events still available
ANN ARBOR— All tickets to the Dalai Lama’s free, University of Michigan-sponsored Wege Lecture on April 20 were distributed Tuesday morning in less than three hours.
No additional tickets remain for the 2 p.m. lecture at Crisler Arena.
However, paid-admission tickets are still available for other, non-U-M-sponsored Dalai Lama events on Saturday, April 19, and Sunday, April 20. Those tickets are available through TicketMaster.
In addition to the U-M-sponsored Wege Lecture, the Dalai Lama will deliver paid-admission teaching sessions at Crisler Arena in Ann Arbor at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. April 19 and 10 a.m. April 20. Those events are sponsored by Jewel Heart, the Garrison Institute and The Tibet Fund.
