Small-business job fair fosters entrepreneurship in engineering
DATE: 9 a.m.-6 p.m., March 19, 2008.
EVENT: Entrepreneurial Opportunities Day at the University of Michigan College of Engineering invites small, growing Michigan-based technology businesses to campus to develop relationships with the students and faculty of the college. The day will include a job fair for companies to find student interns and employees, industry roundtables led by faculty experts, and a community resource fair for companies and student entrepreneurs.
Participating companies include: Altair Product Design, Arbor Networks, Barracuda Networks, Digerati, Inc., Healthmedia, ICON Creative Technologies, LTI Information Technology, Magicoast, Media Genesis, Michigan Aerospace Corporation, Nextec, Next Generation Therapeutics, Inc., Patriot Antenna Systems, Sensors, Inc., Thixomat, Inc., Torrey Patch Engineering, Xoran Technologies and many others.
