CREDENTIALS: Media interested in covering the University of Michigan spring commencement May 1 at Michigan Stadium must request credentials by 5 p.m. EST Friday, April 23. Members of the media will receive a confirmation e-mail by Monday, April 26

To request media credentials, send the name of each reporter and photographer, outlet name, their role, and their e-mail address to: [email protected].

Freelancers hired by an outlet need to include a contact at the outlet who can be called to verify the assignment.

Credentials will be available at a media check-in site the day of commencement. Gates open at 6:30 a.m. The ceremony begins at 11 a.m. Media should plan to arrive before 9 a.m. to check in for credentials and go through security. President Barack Obama will deliver the commencement address.

PHOTOGRAPHERS/BROADCASTERS: Prepare for a distance of at least 60 yards in the stadium. A live feed of the ceremony in the stadium will be available for broadcast stations.
