University of Michigan officials have issued the following statement regarding the U-M inclement weather policy, as stated in the U-M Standard Practice Guide. U-M employees who believe they are affected may contact their supervisors for details.

“Due to the blizzard that occurred in southeast Michigan this past weekend, the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor campus, Dearborn campus, and Flint campus) has declared an inclement weather period, in accordance with the Standard Practice Guide. The inclement weather period has been designated as covering any shift that began between noon on Saturday, “The University administration is extremely grateful to the dedicated employees who through significant effort were able to provide essential services.”
