Advisory to University community: Ann Arbor snow emergency
A formal declaration of a snow
emergency has been issued by the City of Ann Arbor. This
will begin Saturday, Jan. 16, and is expected to continue at least
until January 21. The emergency will not be in effect during the
Martin Luther King holiday on Monday, Jan. 18.
During a snow emergency—
Designated snow emergency routes must be kept clear of parked cars at all times during the snow emergency.
In addition, on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (Jan. 13, 14, 15), city crews will bag meters to prevent parking and facilitate snow removal on the following campus area streets: South University, East Madison, Thompson, Maynard, South Division, East Washington, West Liberty, South Fourth Avenue and East Ann.
On the weekend, crews will be concentrating in the Oxbridge & Burns Park neighborhoods and the area east of State St., north of Huron.

During the weekend you may wish to park your vehicle on the interior
levels of the following University parking structures free of charge from 5 p.m. Friday to 4 p.m. Sunday: Church St., Hill St, Thompson St.,
Thayer St., Glen St. & Catherine St. Excluded are all roof levels and
the Fletcher St. structure. You may also park your car in University/AATA park-n-ride lots on Greene Road or South State
Street and ride a bus to campus.
