EVENT: Ken Chenault, chairman and CEO of American Express, will speak on “Leadership in Challenging Times” in a free, public talk.

Chenault joined American Express in 1981 and worked in various positions before becoming president and chief operating officer in 1997. He assumed his current responsibilities as chairman and CEO in 2001.

Chenault serves on the boards of American Express and several other corporate and nonprofit organizations, including IBM, Procter & Gamble, Arthur Ashe Institute for Urban Health, World Trade Center Memorial Foundation and more.
