Chairman of House Committee on Foreign Affairs to discuss foreign policy in the next decade

EVENT: The Ross School of Business and the William Davidson Institute host Congressman Tom Lantos, D-Calif., for a special lecture on foreign policy. Lantos is currently serving his 14th term in the U.S. House of Representatives, and is the only Holocaust survivor ever to serve in Congress. The event is free and open to the public.
As a member of the U.S. House, Lantos has a strong record on environmental protection, has been a consistent supporter of public education, and is a leader in congressional oversight over federal government programs. As chairman of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, Lantos has played a leading role in U.S. international relations for more than two decades.
In 1983, he founded the Congressional Human Rights Caucus, and continues to serve as its co-chairman. Lantos also serves on the board of the William Davidson Institute at the University of Michigan.
