Conference on media and democracy will be held Nov. 15
ANN ARBOR—Scholars from across the country will discuss the current status and future direction of communication studies and focus on the ongoing relationships between media institutions and democracy in a day-long conference Nov. 15 at the University of Michigan.
“Media and Democracy 2000: New Directions in Studying Media Content and Performance,” hosted by the U-M Department of Communication Studies, will be held 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at the U-M Alumni Center’s Founders Room.
