Experts examine aftermath of destruction in Southeast Asia

ANN ARBOR—Destruction in Southeast Asia has come through nature and through human actions. Reconstruction following disaster, however, may pose quite different questions and dilemmas.

The Center for Southeast Asian Studies at the University of Michigan is exploring two divergent Southeast Asian destructions and their aftermaths in guest lectures on April 18-19. Both events are free and open to the public.

EVENTS: "From the Mud Up: Rebuilding Aceh, A Report from the Field" and "Recovering History and Justice in Cambodia"

PLACE: Both events will be at 1636 SSWB/International Institute, 1080 South University, Ann Arbor.
