EVENT: How is expanded insurance coverage affecting stakeholders and communities?
Dr. Matthew M. Davis, professor of internal medicine, pediatrics and communicable diseases, and public policy at the University of Michigan hosts the discussion. Dr. John Ayanian, a U-M professor of internal medicine, health management and policy and public policy will moderate.
Davis said the goal of the program is to provide a nongovernmental stakeholder perspective of the Michigan Healthy Plan. It will include current enrollment and demographics in addition to state comparisons.
The panel features Laura Appel, Michigan Health and Hospital Association; Robert Fowler, Small Business Administration; Erin Knott, Enroll America; Kim Sibilsky, Michigan Primary Care Association; and Ken Sikkema, Public Sector Consultants.
