ANN ARBOR—The University of Michigan off-campus program will offer 78 courses in Dearborn, Flint and Midland beginning Sept. 5.

In Dearborn, the U-M School of Social Work (Ann Arbor) will offer a course in theories of individuals, families, and group functions as well as an introductory course in interpersonal practice. Through U-M-Dearborn, courses will be offered in art, art history, communication, comparative literature, composition, economics, English composition, English, history, music history, philosophy, political science, and speech.

On the non-credit level, Dearborn will offer programs in personal computer training, computer careers, and engineering education.

At U-M-Flint, the School of Social Work (Ann Arbor) will offer two courses: one concerning human service organizations, and the other dealing with interpersonal practice process. The U-M-Flint will offer courses in American culture, biology, education, English, health care reform, history, mathematics, politics, psychology, public administration, and sociology.

Business administration undergraduates and graduates can enroll in a three-year evening M.B.A. program through Flint. Flint also offers a certificate program in computer science and one in personal and corporate productivity. Call (810) 762-3200 for information regarding the certificate programs at U-M-Flint.

In Midland, the U-M Department of Chemical Engineering (Ann Arbor) will offer a course in applied numerical methods. This course is offered in cooperation with Dow Chemical.
