Free, public panel discussion on ” Election ’96”

ANN ARBOR—The University of Michigan School of Public Policy will sponsor a free, public panel discussion on ” Election Nov. 15 at the Michigan League.

The forum will address how the campaign shaped the public’s perception of major issues, the impact of negative campaign advertising, and what we can expect in the next four years from the Clinton administration and the Republican Congress.

Panelists include Alex P. Evans of Democratic polling firm Evans & McDonough in Berkeley, Calif.; Dave Iannelli of Republican polling firm Coldwater Corp., which runs the NBC/Wall Street Journal poll; and former state Sen. Doug Ross, a U-M lecturer in public policy and former assistant secretary of the U.S. Department of Labor and past director of the Michigan Department of Commerce.
