EVENT: Green chemistry and engineering can revolutionize the way we work and live by employing less toxic materials and processes in the manufacture and design of the products we use every day. While protecting human health and the environment, green chemistry and engineering can also help businesses create new markets, reduce costs, and gain a competitive edge.

Leading experts in technology, chemistry, engineering and economic development will discuss the positive changes that are already happening in Michigan, and what’s in store for the future.

Gov. Rick Snyder will present the third annual Michigan Green Chemistry Governor’s Awards, recognizing efforts to advance innovation and principles of green chemistry into chemical design, manufacture or use, or promotion activities that support or implement those technologies.
