The University of Michigan will host a public hearing by the state Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Higher Education on Friday (March 8).

This hearing, the last of a series relating to the FY 2002-03 budget being held around the state by the subcommittee, will begin at 9:30 a.m. in the Clements Library, 909 South University Ave. on U-M’s Central Campus. The U-M appropriation will be addressed at 11:30 a.m. Subcommittee chair, Sen. John Schwarz (R-Battle Creek), will preside.
