Indian ambassador to deliver lecture on U.S. ? Indian foreign policy

EVENT: Ambassador Ronen Sen’s lecture and visit will inaugurate a new three-year initiative on contemporary South Asia, entitled “The Trehan India Initiative at the University of Michigan.” The initiative is made possible by a grant from Ranvir and Adarsh Trehan and the Trehan Foundation.
Sen was India’s first ambassador to Russia following the demise of the former Soviet Union (1992-1998), and also served as ambassador to Germany during reunification (1998-2002). Since becoming ambassador to the U.S. in 2004, he has worked to strengthen the relationship between India and the United States.
PLACE: Alumni Center, 200 Fletcher St., Ann Arbor. A reception will follow the free public lecture.
