John Engler and C.K. Prahalad will speak at U-M global operations management conference

EVENT: The University of Michigan conference on “Management of Innovations in Global Operations” will address current innovations and trends in modern-day global operations management and feature keynote speeches by former Michigan Gov. John Engler and renowned management guru C.K. Prahalad.
Other speakers include Thomas McMillan of General Motors, Google’s Mark Matossian, Charles Holland of UPS, Eaton’s Chris Ostrander, Kevin Harrington of Cisco Systems and William Lovejoy of U-M’s Ross School of Business.
Engler is now president of the National Association of Manufacturers, the largest industry trade group in America. Prahalad, the Paul and Ruth McCracken Distinguished University Professor at the Ross School of Business, is a one of the world’s top experts on corporate strategy and innovation and author of several best-selling books on globalization, competition and the eradication of poverty.
