OSU writer Lee K. Abbott to speak

ANN ARBOR—As part of the University of Michigan’s Visiting Writer series, Lee K. Abbott, noted fiction author and English professor at Ohio State University, will present a reading in the Rackham Amphitheater on Thursday (Feb. 10) at 5 p.m. The series is sponsored by the U-M Department of English and the Office of the Provost.

Abbott, a visiting professor in the U-M Creative Writing program, has written six collections of short stories. He has won several prizes, including the Pushcart Prize and the Story Quarterly Prize for fiction, and is the two-time recipient of the National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship and of Pulitzer Prize nominations in fiction.
