Parents’ weekend activities Nov. 9-11
ANN ARBOR—University of Michigan parents are invited to experience the university environment during Parent’s Weekend 2001, Nov. 9-11.
This year’s theme is “The University of Michigan and Its History.” Parents will tour campus as well as attend receptions at each residence hall. E. Royster Harper, vice president for student affairs, will lead a discussion with parents about University policies and programs. Other activities include a lecture by Ralph Williams, professor of English, winner of a Golden Apple awarded honoring outstanding faculty.
Parents also may attend presentations by the Chicago Comedy Company and the opera “The Consul,” performed by students from the U-M School of Music. Limited tickets to the Michigan vs. Minnesota tailgate and football game are also available.
