Playwright David Henry Hwang to discuss his new Broadway hit ‘Chinglish’

EVENT: David Henry Hwang, winner of the Tony Award in 1988 for “M. Butterfly,” will discuss his new Broadway hit, “Chinglish,” a cross-cultural comedy about a U.S. businessman trying to secure a lucrative deal in China. Last month, “Chinglish” received the Jeff Award–Chicago’s highest theater honor–for outstanding new play. Hwang’s talk will be free and open to the public. All are invited to a reception after the talk.
