ANN ARBOR—The University of Michigan Department of Public Safety (DPS) is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man who was admitted to the U-M Medical Center on Monday (Sept. 8). The man has no memory of who he is or where he came from, according to DPS Capt. James Smiley. Police believe the man may have spent time somewhere in the Mountain Time Zone recently, Smiley said. When he arrived at the Medical Center, he was wearing a white shirt and white pants. With the exception of his memory problem, the man appeared to be in good health. He was neat in appearance, but carried no identification. He is a white male, approximately 45-55 years old, 6’4″, 195 pounds, with short brown hair and brown eyes.
