Reducing greenhouse gas emissions can positively affect Michigan?s economy

EVENT: University of Michigan researchers will hold a telephone press briefing to release their new report on strategies that Michigan can employ to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions while improving the state?s economy and creating jobs. The report: Michigan at a Climate Crossroads: Strategies for Guiding the State in a Carbon-Constrained World Project.
The briefing will immediately follow the researchers? testimony before the state House Energy and Technology Committee in Lansing.
