ANN ARBOR—Faculty appointments, with tenure, approved by the University of Michigan Regents at their Dec. 16 meeting included:

John J. LiPuma, a faculty member at MCP-Hahnemann University, Philadelphia, will be associate professor of pediatrics and communicable diseases at U-M, effective Dec. 17.

Scott E. Page, a faculty member at the University of Iowa, will be associate professor of political science at U-M, effective Jan. 1, 2000.
