ANN ARBOR—Faculty appointments, with tenure, approved by the University of Michigan Regents at their May 18 meeting included:

Robert Fishman, a faculty member at Rutgers University, will be professor of architecture at U-M, effective July 1.

Mary N. Haan, a faculty member at the University of California-Davis, will be associate professor of epidemiology at U-M, effective Sept. 1.

Antonia Villarruel, a faculty member at the University of Pennsylvania, will be associate professor of nursing at U-M, effective Sept. 1.
