Regents approve tenure appointments
ANN ARBOR—The University of Michigan Regents, at their Nov. 16 meeting, approved these tenure appointments:
Julie A. Sochalski, associate director of the Center for Health Outcomes and Policy Research and senior fellow of the Leonard Davis Institute for Health Economics at the University of Pennsylvania, will be associate professor of nursing, with tenure, at U-M, effective Jan. 1, 2001.
Rei Terada, U-M associate professor of English, with tenure, will also serve as associate professor of comparative literature, with tenure, effective Sept. 1, 2000.
