ANN ARBOR— University of Michigan Regents will hold

their monthly meeting Thursday and Friday (Sept. 21-22).

Although the meeting will convene publicly at 9 a.m. Thursday in the Regents’ Room, Fleming Administration Building, it is expected that the meeting will be closed immediately, as allowed under the Open Meetings Act, to consider material exempt from disclosure by the Michigan Freedom of Information Act.

The Regents will reconvene publicly at 2 p.m. in the Regents’ Room. They will receive the student government’s biannual report. Other discussion items will include ” University Program Rankings” and ” Welcome to Michigan ’95.”

At 4 p.m. the Regents will hold their monthly public comments session in the Anderson Room, Michigan Union. University members and others may, by making prior arrangements, address their comments to the Regents.

On Friday the Regents will resume their meeting at 9 a.m. in the Regents’ Room. Their agenda items will include the University’s year-end financial report, faculty appointments and status changes, construction and renovation projects, financial items, and matters related to the U-M-Dearborn and U-M-Flint.
