Regents to meet Feb. 15
ANN ARBOR—The University of Michigan Board of Regents will hold its monthly meeting Thursday (Feb. 15) in the Fleming Administration Building.
At the meeting, the regents will hear a report on the activity of the Life Sciences Institute by Alan Saltiel, director of the institute.
The regents will be asked to approve the appointment of several Arthur F. Thurnau professorships. Faculty are chosen for the honor each year for their outstanding contributions to undergraduate education.
Also before the board will be a resolution approving the installation of a fire suppression system for two residence halls, Betsy Barbour and Helen Newberry.
The meeting will begin at 3 p.m.
