School of Education co-sponsors educator, author Jonathan Kozol
ANN ARBOR—The University of Michigan School of Education will co-sponsor “Conversations with Jonathan Kozol,” on March 14 and 15 at Rackham Auditorium.

Kozol is a renowned educator and author devoting his life to educational issues and inequalities and social justice in America.
“Creating Healthy Spaces for Children’s Personal, Social, Imaginative, and Intellectual Growth,” is the theme for Wednesday’s lecture. The program runs from 7 to 9 p.m.
“Engaging in Scholarship for Advocacy,” will be held on Thursday from 1:30 to 3 p.m.
Kozol’s comments will include excerpts and experiences from his new book, “Ordinary Resurrections: Children in the Years of Hope.” A book signing will follow each event.
“Conversations with Jonathan Kozol” is free and open to the public. The series is co-sponsored by the School of Education, the Office of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, School of Social Work, Horace H. Rackham School of Graduate Studies, and the Ginsberg Center for Community Service and Learning.
