School of Information open house Oct. 27

ANN ARBOR—Those interested in learning more about careers in the information professions and earning a master’s or doctoral degree is invited to the annual University of Michigan School of Information‘s open house on Oct. 27, 1:30-4:30 p.m. The School is located in West Hall at 550 E. University St.

Prospective students will meet faculty, staff, and current students. The School encourages both students who are completing their undergraduate program now and those who have previously earned a bachelor’s degree and wish to return for their master’s.

The master’s program offers specializations in archives and records management; human-computer interaction; information economics; management and policy; and library and information services. The doctoral program is bolstered by a new multidisciplinary fellowship program funded by the National Science Foundation for students interested in the social and technological aspects of e-commerce.
